Kabaddi in Gujarat has taken a historic step forward. The Gujarat Kabaddi League (GKL) has officially been launched under the Gujarat State Kabaddi Association (GSKA), creating a professional platform for players, franchise owners, sponsors, and fans. The inaugural season is expected to be held in September 2026 with eight city-based franchises competing for a prize pool of ₹25 lakh.
