SAI Sonipat Opens Kabaddi Selection Trials for Girls

Young female kabaddi players across India have a great opportunity to showcase their talent as the Sports Authority of India (SAI), National Centre of Excellence (NCOE), Sonipat, has announced Open Selection Trials for the 2026-27 session.

The trials will take place on 25 June 2026 at SAI NCOE Sonipat, Haryana, with reporting scheduled for 8:00 AM sharp.

Eligibility Criteria

Players must be:

• Girls aged between 16 and 20 years
• State-level medalists
• Participants or medalists in SGFI competitions
• Participants or medalists in AKFI National Championships
• Participants or medalists in Khelo India Youth Games

Documents Required

Candidates must bring:

• Birth Certificate
• Aadhaar Card
• School Leaving Certificate
• Four Passport Size Photographs
• Sports Achievement Certificates
• Medical Fitness Certificate
• Educational Qualification Certificate

Important Instructions

• Reporting time is strictly 8:00 AM.
• Players must bring their own kit and shoes.
• No TA/DA will be provided.
• Candidates must be medically fit.
• Entry is allowed only with valid documents.
• Selection will be based purely on performance.
