Karthika's Video Statement

The following is an English translation and summary of the main points shared by R. Karthika in her public video statement. These are her own claims and opinions and have not been independently verified by ADT Sports.

"My name is Karthika. I am currently in the Indian national camp."

Karthika begins the video by introducing herself and says that she is currently attending the Indian national coaching camp.

She says that while she is preparing to represent India, she has been deeply disturbed by recent events involving her mother.

"The allegations against my coach are false."

Karthika strongly denies the allegations made against her coach.

According to her, her coach has never behaved inappropriately with her and has always supported her throughout her kabaddi journey.

She says she wants people to know that the allegations being circulated against him are not true from her perspective.

"My mother is trying to stop my progress."

Karthika claims that the purpose of these allegations is to affect her career and prevent her from progressing in kabaddi.

She says she believes the controversy has been created to damage both her future and her coach's reputation.

"My parents have been living separately."

In the video, Karthika says that her parents have been living separately for several years.

She also makes personal allegations regarding her mother's relationship and says these family issues have affected her emotionally for a long time.

These statements represent Karthika's personal account of her family situation.

"My ATM card was taken."

Karthika further alleges that her mother repeatedly asked for her ATM card.

According to Karthika, approximately ₹15 lakh was withdrawn from her account over a period of three months.

She claims she has documents and transaction records to support these allegations.

ADT Sports has not independently verified these financial claims.

"My coach never took my money."

Responding to the allegations involving finances, Karthika says her coach has never taken any money from her.

She says she can provide evidence if required and insists that the accusations against him are false.

"Please save me from my mother."

Towards the end of the video, Karthika makes an emotional appeal.

She requests that she be protected from what she describes as continuous harassment by her mother.

She says she wants peace of mind while staying in the Indian national camp and preparing to represent the country.

In her closing message, she says:

"I want to play for India. Please support me and help me focus on my career."
